Brick Lane

On Friday 5th September, you'll all be handing in your essays, so in the afternoon/evening, you will deserve to relax a bit. We have a trip to Brick Lane- meet Roy at 5pm in the open area. Brick Lane is full of South Asian food restaurants (especially Bengali food), which serve excellent food at reasonable prices. There are also lots of bars and clubs in the street, it depends how late you want to stay out...

South Kensington

Tuesday 2nd September

A visit to this part of London where there are three of London's biggest museums: the Victoria & Albert (arts, crafts and fashion); the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum, as well as the beautiful Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. They are all free, and we'll visit which museum is the most popular on the day, and go for a walk in the park in the weather is nice...

Meet Roy in the open area at 1.30pm

Buckingham Palace

The Queen's little flat (ok- big house!) is only open to the public during the summer, so we've booked a trip there for next Wednesday (27th August). As places are limited, come and get tickets from Alex in LC105C- there are just five tickets left, so if you'd like to go, be quick!
Follow the link on the right for more information about the Palace.

Borough Market

This market is London's big food market- lots of stalls with produce and dishes from around Britain and all over the world. You can taste lots of things for free as well! For more information, follow the link on the right and have a look at the website:
